SteriPEN®, produced by Hydro-Photon, Inc., a leader in handheld water purifiers, is pleased to announce the receipt of the Water Quality Association’s certification for their SteriPEN® UV Water Purifiers. Founded in 1959, the Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit international trade association representing the residential, commercial, industrial, and small community water treatment industry. The WQA Gold Seal is awarded to quality water treatment products that meet or exceed industry standards for performance, capacity and equipment durability. WQA performs third-party testing before awarding the Gold Seal. SteriPEN® purifiers have been tested and certified by WQA against the US EPA microbiological water purifier standard. The WQA Gold Seal Mark allows consumers to purchase with confidence.
