Said to be the “toughest 2 Day Race in the Country,” the 50 hour long Odyssey Endorphin Fix starts its gears turning at 2 p.m. today, and then 1, 2, 3, 4…50 hours of endorphins - those little hormones released from that punching bag-like gland inside your head that help contribute to the sensations experienced during excitement, pain and yes, orgasms.

The E-Fix will be completely unsupported and that means no gear box, through the
trekking, mountain biking, paddling and off trail orienteering that will comprise this odyssey. It is hinted that “uphill” will be the theme as competitors burn through West Virginia.

"The competition in the 4 Person Coed division is going to be intense. We've got some very experienced teams that are gonna set a really fast pace up front. The fans watching at home at www.checkpointtracker.com are in for quite a show." mentions Ronny Angell, Race Director.

Checkpoint Tracker will be hosting a realtime micro blog powered by Cover It Live, an integrated leaderboard, Flickr gallery and a Google Maps powered Course Map.

The Endorphin Fix is part of the Checkpoint Tracker National Adventure Racing Point Series, with points being awarded to the 4 person coed division.
