The North Face announced they will be sending their top athletes throughout the continental US as part of their 2011 Never Stop Exploring Speaker Series. The 29 stop tour will see the likes of Dean Karnazes, Cory Richards, Karina Hollekim, Diane Van Deren, Ingrid Backstrom, Kit DesLauriers and Mark Synnott sharing stories of adventure and exploration to fans and adventure enthusiasts.

The first date on the tour is Sept 15 and will continue until November 10.

Jessica Starkey, Marketing Manager for The North Face Canada informed us that "at this time there are no plans for the adventure series to extend into Canada." TNF Canada will still be getting in front of their loyal adventurists through various events however. For those adventurous Canadian souls that need their adventure fix however, there are a few stops coming close to the border. On October 5th Karnazes will be talking about "Life in Motion" in Portsmouth, NH, Backstrom will be in Seattle, WA on October 13th giving a talk on "Whimsical Dreams: The Skiing Life," DesLauriers will be giving a talk titled "Journey Through the Arctic Refuge, Northeast Alaska" in Burlington, VT on October 17th and again on October 19th in Minneapolis, MN and Synnott will be talking about "Life on the Vertical" on October 18th in Bozeman, MT.

The North Face Never Stop Exploring Speaker Series has allocated 50 percent of the theatre seats in each venue as free on a first-come first-served basis. However those wanting to ensure a seat can purchase them online for $8.00. VIP Reception tickets, which include preferred seating, a meet and greet with the athlete, beer, wine and light food, are available for $20.00. All proceeds from the VIP tickets purchased goes to a local nonprofit organization. Following the presentation, there will be an interactive question-and-answer session.
